Over the past few years, rumors and speculations concerning the possibility of Bully 2 have come and gone. Ever since the release of the first Bully game back in 2006, fans of Rockstar’s action-adventure title have been wondering whether a sequel will ever see the light of day.

In the past, rumors began circulating that Bully 2 will commence development as soon as Red Dead Redemption 2 is completed. However, it has been four months since Rockstar’s western was released to critical acclaim, but there is still no official confirmation on whether Bully 2 will be Rockstar’s next project.

While the prospect of a Bully sequel gets increasingly unlikely as time goes by, a video posted by YouTuber SWEGTA may shed a ray of hope to fans who are looking forward to seeing the release of Bully 2. In the video, SWEGTA revealed that in a previous Bully 2 video he made, a user by the name of Alex Martens commented on the video saying that, “Bully 2 is indeed in development.”

To make things more interesting, there is also an Alex Martens working for Rockstar Games as a Technical Designer. The video revealed that the same YouTube account made similar comments to other Bully 2 related videos. While the account can easily be dismissed as a YouTube troll, a Reddit user did a little bit of digging and concluded that the commenter might be the developer himself.

The YouTube account in question was made in 2013, with 189 subscribers, has a profile picture in place, and follows the Game Developers Conference channel. Most troll accounts would not post a profile picture and would have minimal to no subscribers, and would have no reason to follow the GDC channel. To add to that, given that the account was made six years ago, it rules out the possibility of someone making a random account claiming to be from Rockstar and commenting on Bully videos to gain attention.

Moreover, when SWEGTA’s video started gaining attention from the gaming community, the commenter has since changed his username from Alex Martens to Alex M and removed his profile picture as well. Of course, given that there is no concrete evidence to support these claims, it is possible that the commenter is just an elaborate stunt by a YouTube troll. However, if he is indeed a developer from Rockstar, then did we just get an unofficial confirmation of Bully 2?
